Was wondering what is causing the delay with this one? I recall hearing rumors and release dates of Feb.'11 when we started the New Year and other Manix's have come out since that time but still no Manix C101PBL2...was wondering if their were any issues with the making of the knife or the scales..?
 
I don't think we can necessarily judge the FRCP version's coming out relative to the many G10 variants that always seem to be coming down the pipeline. Different handle setup in a different material. Perhaps it's just not come around in the production schedule yet. Perhaps it's getting tweaked after a first batch. Could be any number of things.
 
Spyderco never released a firm date on that knife from what I recall. This is precisely why, too many vairables and when a date is announced and missed, people seem to go into full meltdown mode and lose all logical reasoning.
 
I think it looks cool - All I've heard on a release date is 2011 ... so I got plenty of time to anticipate.
 
I am sure that it will be worth the wait. Plus, I have to agree with the above where they said that all of the other sprint runs may have something to do with the delay too.
