Hey guys, does any of you have some nice pics of the Michael Walker C22?
I have the lightweight and I surely like to see the dress up version! (all the pics I found on the net were kinda lousy)

thank you! :)

Sorry, I can't help you with a pic, but the Walker lightweight has been one of my favorite EDC knives for the last four years. In fact it was the first knife I bought at my first knife show., the 1998 NYCKS, (which just happens to be coming up next weekend).
It is IMO a perfect little carry knife, I was sorry when they discontinued it.

Indeed! :)

Mine was the first quality knife I bought (I even remember I paid $91 for it -in here), also on a 2000 Show (firearms and knives)

It was my EDC until I got my Native, but now I still carry it somedays.

I found a Walker knife (Spyderco) with almite handles, and AUS-8 blade steel. I didn't know that they existed. Is this knife anything special? It looks almost exactly like this one, in profile/shape, but has a partially serrated blade. Any info???

I have one of those in plain edge. I got mine from a company called Ironstone. (I think they're out of business now.) I'm not sure but I believe that they were directly connected with Spyderco and were the only ones who had the Walker in Almite.

Ironstone was the old retail arm of Spyderco, reincarnated as Spyderco Factory Outlet.

The almite Walker was made in run of 1000 knives - IIRC, it was the C08X

They have not really brought much in the way of collector's prices and still sell (when they are even sold) for less than the SFO discounted sale price.

They are excellent blades, but like all almite-coated aluminum, the finish is fragile and woe to you if you drop it on something hard like a concrete sidewalk - if cosmetics are important to you (nad they are to me!)

Enjoy
