New to Spyderco knives. Picked up the Military a week or two ago. Just noticed that New Graham knives has the Spyderco Carbon Fiber Military (limited run) back in stock. Is this one a must have? ( I don't see much mention of it on the forums) What's up with Carbon Fiber?

Spyderco has been releasing their more popular models in carbon fiber for many years in limited numbers. Crickets, Dragonflys, Police models, Civilians, Delicas, etc. All of them (except the Walker) have used polished slab-sided carbon fiber. Beautiful scales but not so grippy and real easy to scratch. They approached the Military differently. The carbon fiber used on it is called peel-ply. From what I understand the CF is poured onto a rough canvas and allowed to halfway set up, then the canvas is peeled off leaving the "grippy" texture. This method falls right in line with the workhorse attitude of the Mil model. Functional beauty.
And if the New Graham website is correct, they certainly have the best price I've ever seen on them. If I recall correctly there was only 450 of these made. They won't get any cheaper.

Guys sorry but the price was a typo on my part
