Spyderco centering

Hi,
I put my Spyderco Yojimbo 2 three days ago on a sideboard. It was well centered and everything was OK.
Here in Germany we had humid warm days. Today when I took the knife the blade showed more to one side. It was not really centered anymore.
Nobody touched it.......
So could it be the warm humid weather?
And how about centering the knife? Is it adjustible through the pivot screws?

Thanks in advance.......

I would not expect humidity to affect the bronze washers, steel liners, or G10 scales in a way that would cause this, but who knows.

Did you check the pivot to see if it's secure? Maybe it became loose from opening/closing and that caused the blade to shift off center.

Hi, the pivot screws were fine. I wrote to spyderco and they said I could send the knife to them and they will have look. If it falls under warranty they would fix it. The knife if almost new.
Have to look as I am currently living in Germany....

I've fixed the centering on many knives. Some came off center, others with use tend to move to one side. Others yet were disassembled and needed to be dialed in from scratch. My guess with your Yojimbo is that during the break in process some of the factory loctite was loosened and the blade slowly listed to one side.

Shipping to and from Germany seems very costly. These knives are rather simple in their design, and my recommendation is to use the appropriate sized Torx driver and tighten the pivot screw until back to center. I don't own the particular knife but am familiar with similar designs and the comp lock in general. You may need 2 torx drivers as the compression lock pivot makes the opposite side want to spin. My guess is that the smallest tweak will immediately bring this back to center. If the blade keeps moving you can remove the screw and apply loctite and re-adjust. After that you should be good to go.

Thanks for your recommendation!
The knife seems almost good after 'playing' around with the pivot screws. There is now only a minor turn to one side. And maybe its only me who sees that [emoji4]
I think i can live with that. At least for the moment .....
