I have a Spyderco cermaic stone made of "High Alumina Ceramic". One side of the stone is white while the other side is dark. What is the difference? (If any). I can not feel any difference when touching the two sides. (I do not think the white side is diamond, it does not look that way and also on the document enclosed it only says that the stone is ceramic)

Hope you guys can help. Thanks.

The white side is fine, and the dark side is medium. Although I do have to say that I'v never seen a Spyderco combination stone.

Its a newer stone. I think it's called the double stuff. I have the sharpmaker and the HAC stones work great.

Smitty's right. Aluminum oxide stones, fine (white) and medium (dark)

It's not all that new. I got a Double Stuff a while ago and it's one of my basic sharpening tools. I like to use diamond for reprofiling but I'd rather just carry the Double Stuff for touchups and portability.

Fallkniven has a double stone, too, but I think theirs is ceramic one side and fine diamond on the other.
