Spyderco cf tmag

It's a pretty cool knife, it wasn't like by many due to no locking mechanism. The magnets on them don't hold very tight, but I would consider it a light edc knife given the specs on it.

here's a vid on my impressions of it. I seemed to have paid a bit high [think around 75] when another member Gundude73 got his for $45 range.

If you want a folder that Doesnt Lock its a great knife.

Spyderco sold them for $50 a couple of years ago.I sent mine back because

I didnt like the fact that my Forefinger was the Lock.

Are these good knives? Just got offered on one today. Looks interesting.
They are a unique knife that a lot of people don't seem to like, due to the lack of a positive locking mechanism. The way they are designed, they can't close on your hand if you are holding them properly (whith your fore finger in the choil), so there is no real danger in using them. However, unless you are buying it strickly for your collection (due to the uniqueness), you need to be able to live with that. They are very well made of high quality materials (CPMS30V and carbon fiber). If none of that bothers you, I would go ahead and pick it up if its at a reasonable price (say $50-60). I might go as high as $70-80 if you are really interested in it. I see them going on eBay for between $100-140 these days but I honestly don't think they are worth that.

I've got one that I slip into my EDC rotation fairly regulary and it does everything I ask of it. It might not be up to really heavy-duty chores, but I don't use my EDC for that. :)
