I was going to link the picture of the Chaparral from the knife center blog, but they seem to have taken down that blog entry.
Anyway, it's based on the Sage series, basically a "mini sage" with a backlock. It looks like a smaller version of the Sage I, with twill CF and a mid backlock with no Boye dent rather than a liner lock. It's in S30V, with blade stock a full mm thinner than the Sage series. Apparently it's coming around late spring (but who knows the actual date).
My name is the first and only name on the pre-order list right now. I can't wait for this one!
