What are your thoughts please. Worth the money? What about the steel? Fit & finish? Any competitor product (gentleman folder/ clip/weight/usefulness) out there you think is a better choice?

Thanks...in advance.... for your comments.

I have the Chaparral 1 and like it enough to get this new titanium version.

I missed out on the exclusive Para-Military 2 in orange G10 and Carpenter CTS-XHP.

I am not aware of anyone else (production companies) offering CTS-XHP at this time.

If you like backlock knives check out the Spyderco Native 5 its got S35VN steel. Definitely next on my list for EDC. Got a Sage carbon fiber on the way now.

I had one and sold it...S30v, not the XHP. Jut too small and thin. If the size works for you, it could be great.
That's some crazy steel, but that knife is more suited to really light duty tasks.
My Sage 1 is about as small and light as I like to go, but that's a personal peference.

I have the titanium version and it is gorgeous, fit and finish is superb. It makes me want the carbon fiber version for carrying because I'm afraid of marring the finish on the titanium one.

I'm not familiar with a competing folder because I'm too focussed on spydies, but I'm impressed with the f&f of my ti Chaparral. It's a great knife, I think of it as a crossover as a regular EDC and a gent's folder. The blade is thin, makes it a nice slicer. The facets are easy on the eyes for sure.

The blade of the Chapparal is about half as thick as the Para. The cutting edge is shorter, but even so it will cut rings around the Paramilitary as long as you're not ham-fisted enough to break it.
