help me chose (i can only afford one) i want it for daily carry. what are the pros and cons of each? thanks

chinook is a great knife if one likes the persian/trailing point blade shape. the power lock is very strong. did very well in demkos testing vs. his tri-ad. the chinook 4 is not too thin, not too thick. it carries well in the pocket folded not too curvy and awkward.

i dont own a tighe stick so i cant comment on size and shape other than dimensions ive read.

visually the chinook looks better to me as well.

I've owned the TS. It's no slouch.

Some help.

Better if drilled for tip up.

The TS blade is rather odd looking. But with sweet machined Titanium and S90V , I'd pick that over the chinook which has plain Jane black G10 and S30V.

FWIW, I bought the Chinook and passed on the Stick. Preferred both looks and lock on the Chinook.

The Chinook is an awesome knife. The tighe stick is fugly and more than likely not so practical in actual use. I have held the tighe stick, not my thing. I bought the Chinook. If you buy the Chinook and have done your homework (which I'm sure you have lol) as to what its like, you will not be disappointed.

I bought it for the collection. It's a (functional) work of art. I think the photos tell most of the story. The tip is extremely pointy. The lockup is solid. Lockbar is not difficult for me to disengage as some have reported. Good detent. Clip works just fine for tip down only.
