Spyderco Christmas Tradition

As I was getting ready to go pick out a Christmas tree today, I clipped my original (first) Spyderco, a Delica Clipit SE in G2 into my pocket. Then I realized, I've taken this knife with me every year to pick out a tree since I purchased it (I'm guessing around 1992 or 93).

I never thought about it until today, but this knife and I have a developed a Christmas tradition. Some day I hope to be able to pass this knife down to one of my children or grandchildren, and have them carry on this fine tradition.

You chop down a X-mas tree with a Delica? Sweet!

No, I use it to cut the twine that keeps the trees bound up at the lot. Then I use it to cut the twine that hold the tree to the car, and the netting the tree lot puts around the trees for the drive home.

Here she is.
