i love these movie sightings threads....saw the spydie endura SE being used to cut climbing rope in the file "Extreme Ops" over the weekend. Lousy film (does anybody ever use a body (surf) board to rescue a kayaker in distress?) but good use of the Endura.

It was the scene in the kitchen, Just before Wolverine pins
a lackey to the fridge.

I dont think it was a seal 2000 tho - I've seen it twice
and the serations looked too fine from where i was sitting

I could be wrong though

Alan Elischewitz folder in The Heist. And I mean, REAL close up view that you can even read the imprint on the blade. Wonder if anyone got paid to do that product placement - or do the movie folks think knives are "off the map" and not deserving of being specially selected for close-ups?

Just saw "The Outsiders" and emilio estevez flips out a balisong and does a smooth opening and closing. I didn't expect it, thought it was cool.

I dunno if I should beleive the guy that came into the store that I work in but he came in with a plastic molded sog seal knife and said he needed the exact same one for a movie. I asked which one and he said x-men2. It was shooting in Vancouver at the time so I think he was telling the truth

in the x-files there was one episode that mulder had a spyderco blade to cut open a chair cushen for a reason i cant remember...but still i think i've seen some good brand name blades in movies. anyone know what company made the knife in The Edge? that was one cool knife.

Don't remember which episode it was because it was late at night and I only caught a glimpse.

There was a Protech Godfather in "She Spies"(was in the preview for an upcoming episode).
