Does Spyderco provide deep carry clips to their customers like Benchmade? Sorry if this question has already been asked before.

I don't think Spyderco makes a deep carry clip, except for a few models with the clips specifically designed and not interchangeable with other models.

Check out STR and theoriginalspaceman here. They both do great work.

More than a few. There are quite a few of the models that use a wire clip, most of those come with a deep carry clip, and that clip can be purchased and used on almost all the other wire clip equipped models. Three screw clip models are a different story, no deep carry facctory clip is available, only custom ones from third parties, as you mentioned.

Good point Deacon. The wire clips are deep carry and can be switched out for either satin or black. I assume the OP isn't asking about a wire clip though, since his knife would already have a deep carry clip if that were they case.

Not necessarily. My Manix2 Light-weight has a wire clip that I would not consider deep carry (not a loop-over design). However, I put the clip from my Byrd Tern on the Manix and Wah La! deep carry.

Ah I didn't realize they made a wire clip that wasn't folded over. Good to know, I prefer a bit of knife sticking out so I might have to switch some the other way.

Best luck to the OP either way!

Because you are double posting. ;):D

If you get that message box that says Leave Page, hit Yes. Then refresh your topic page. Do not hit submit again. Good luck

Which begs the question, "Why do I keep getting a message box that asks 'Leave Page'?"

I have no idea......hit up Spark with this question, maybe he can educate us all on the matter.

Pretty sure it's a bug in this particular version of the vBulletin software. It may, or may not, be corrected in the newer versions but even if it is, AFAIK, they contain some fairly nasty bugs of their own.

No they do not.

That is why TOSM on the FS gadgets and Gear is filling a want/need.

I've got one of the long clips, and it fits great. If you plan to put it on one of the FRN lockbacks (Delica, Stretch, Endura, etc.), I'd suggest getting the long version, which will clip at the logo part of the handle. The short one will clip on in the middle of textured area, which will snag a bit when pulling the knife from your pocket. The short one works fine on other models, like the PM2 or GB.
