Spyderco Customer Service -> they do their best!

I just wanted to have a seperate note to thank Angela Urtinowski who use to be in customer service. Rumor has it she got promoted to a different department, but she i still with the Spyderco family. She is a lurker and reads the forum religously.

Bottom line is, they stand behind their product. I'm a happy camper now that my Calypso LTWT JR in PLAIN edge is back in my hands!

Each person's experience with any companies customer service department varies greatly. I believe that patience on the part of the ELU is important. It took a little while, but it was worth the wait.

I've never had any interaction with the Spyderco customer service people at all; oh, yeah, that's because all the Spydercos I have are without fault

I would also like to sing Angela's praises (lucky there is no sound on the forum

). I corresponded with her by e-mail for several months while she tracked down a suitable replacement for my Wegner Jr. and she made the whole transaction very enjoyable. I couldn't have been happier with the way it all worked out and Spyderco gets a bouquet for outstanding customer service.

However I can't say I'm too delighted to hear that she's at SFO now
