Can anyone estimate the value of a Spyderco CX06 Plain Edge? I know production numbers were around 1000 pieces. All of the threads I’ve come across about the CX06 are 10+ years old.

I have no idea.

Got any pics of it that you'd care to share? No pics of it on SpydieWiki and only a few on the Net. I never heard of this model til you mentioned it and I've never seen one nor seen one offered for sale. No recent sales reported on EB or ACK.

It's a pretty rare model and IMO it would only be of interest to a really "serious" Spyderco collector that "needs" it for his collection. FWIW, a CF PE C22 sold for $445 on ACK 2 years ago and a CX06 arguably could be worth more.

But, it's a pretty thin market. So, while you eventually may be able to get a "good" price for it, you'll need to advertize it widely so that the "right" buyer will find it and you'll need to be patient to find such a buyer and be flexible on the price if you really want to sell it.

Good luck!

BTW, I'm a "serious" Spyderco collector but I have no interest in it because it's too small and likely to be too expensive for my taste as well. ;)

Oh man I miss those Almite Walkers. I had a few of them back in the day when I was heavy into Spydies... I had over 3500 Spydercos so I was a real crackhead. I think the last one I sold about 5 years ago for around $600-800 maybe. Shit come to think of it Mike, did you get that from me? I know you got quite a few of the original CF Walkers from me.

Thanks for the input.

At one point, I did have two of the CF Walkers, One was the matte finish carbon fiber and the other one was the shinier version.

In the CX06 is actually from a knife show several years ago.

I will post some pictures later this evening.

The CX06 certainly isn’t mint, but overall it’s in very good shape. The only real blemishes are the scuffs on the scales.

Thanks for the pics.

You can try to sell them for whatever you like but, as a collector, I'd say that the "wear/tear" on the knife reduces its value at least by 50% below what it would be worth in mint (or LNIB) condition.

At a gun show I bought an ats34 first gen. Terzola partial serrations for ~125. By that metric, I'd say ~$50 for your knife. I don't believe the pattern is hot, but I'm not a collector.

Ide like to see a CQId version. Maybe even a large version of that
