Well I guess I have to have one but which one? What do you'll like, does one open better out of the pocket? Give me your pros and cons.

Thanks for your time

I've considered both knives at one point. Since both had the ability to deploy the blade with ease, my vote went for the Mini-Comm since I preferred the grippier surface of the G-10. Figured it'd keep my hand in place even if wet.

Actually, the Delica 4 with FRN scales is very grippy. I own two D4's and one mini-Commander, and though the mini is very comfortable in hand and built like a tank, for my purposes I prefer carrying the D4 with serrated edge. For me it's a better cutting tool and easier to use. Plus it's very thin and lightweight, so usually instead of clipping it, I carry it down in my pocket like a regular pocket knife.

The G10 Delica is an excellent option. It is fully flat ground from excellent VG10 stainless, has a very reliable back-lock, and the grippy G10 handles you're looking for. While I cannot deny that Emerson makes a good knife (and I love my Commander, though I do not have its little brother), I think that the G10 Delica is better-suited for everyday carry and use. It's a wonderful knife.

Also, if you're interested in the wave feature, a D4 with the Wave feature is available as well. Good luck.

I'd go with the Delica. Although I'm sure Emerson makes excellent quality knives, I like Spyderco's designs a lot better.

Either knife will make a great carry piece. The Spyderco was designed with utility in mind.

I'd say go with delica, it's easier to replace, cheaper, cuts really well and won't scare so many sheeples out there

I'd go with the Delica.
I have difficulty opening Emersons if I'm not using the wave (which I don't always want to use). Plus the chisel grind doesn't really do it for me.

I'm kinda of surprised that most of you recommended the D4.

Thats good since it cost less for me to get one.

Thanks everyone

The Delica...one of the greatest economical folders on the market.

You won't regret getting one, that's for sure. ;)
