Hi all, I'm new here. I have an early spyderco dive knife, shaped like an ab iron. It's three layers of SS with a spyderco blade at one end and inch/mm markings on one side. The spring that holds the blade lock in place broke.
I sent it to spyderco and they offered to do nothing because "it would cost more that we're allowed to spend on a single knife" to fix it, so they offered me a credit. I'm an avid diver, and really like the concept, so I had them send it back.
So, any suggestions on who might be able to punch out a few SS pins that hold the blade end together, re-fabricate the spring, and put the knife back together? Thanks.
