spyderco Dodo on Reno911 haha..

If you've never seen Reno911 its a comedy that mocks the show Cops on comedy central.
In one scene the officers raid a womans apartment who looks nothing like a drug dealer, more like a kindergarden teacher. They start destroying EVERYTHING in the house lamps,shelves,cereal boxes,vacuums her fishtank dry.
One of the officers takes his blue Spyderco dodo and in two swipes rips her matress from end to end then does it again to her couch! she then shouts this is apartment number 6 not 9 the nail fell off! so they say oh sorry, and leave her standing in the mess,they go looking for apartment 9 and realize hers WAS apartment 9 and when they get back she is dumping a brick of cocaine down the toilet! did anybody else see this?

Was there a more close-up shot I missed? 'Cause I just remember seeing a tiny, bluish object with a silvery bit clear the actor's pocket (he opened it two-handed, BTW). My knife-sense kicked in pretty early, and I remember watching closely to try to ID it.

I'm not doubting you guys, BTW... I _want_ it to be a Dodo!

Yeah, Dodo was my 1st thought, but later when when they show him cutting something else, it totally looks like a Superknife. My vote goes for the Superknife. I wish it were a Dodo. Whatever it was, it did a heck of a job slicing that mattress!

It looked alot like a dodo to me but i never saw a round hole . It was pe i belive.

TiVo to the rescue. My money is on the superknife. When they flip the couch over you get a good shot of the knife in Junior's left hand. The clip was configured tip-down, the blade was squared off,no curves, no opening hole, no serrations.

I don't blame you for having Spyderco on the brain though. This was the Kenny Rogers episode BTW in case anyone's been watching.

You could try watching Navy NCIS, there have been a number of Spydercos featured prominently. I'm still trying to nail down Gibbs' knife though, definitely not a Spyderco.
