I'm thinking of buying a new EDC that will last me for the next year.

Ive looked at many knifes, and the Spyderco Dragonfly G-10 seems to be the one. But I'm worried it might be small and under whelming, as I don't have alot of money to spend on knifes.
I want the dragonfly as it is small, compact, light weight and practically shaped and with good materials ( VG-10/G-10 )

So anyone have any words of wisdom before i make the plunge? I have no interest in FRN etc... Pictures are also greatly appreciated !

I love my Dragonfly G10. It is my favorite pocket knife. It is not too small as the design actually allows it to perform like a larger knife. Also, I like the rugged, and nice looking foliage green G10. Many other people on this forum also love this knife. Buy one, you will not be the slightest bit disappointed.

To ME it's too small for EDC.

To ME.

I'd say the Delica is the smallest I could live with.

I do have one I'll let go at a decent price though (G10 Dragonfly)!

I like the Dragonfly so much, I have three: in VG10, H1 and Super Blue. All are in FRN, so I can't speak to the stainless or G10 versions.

I have stuck with FRN because part of the Dragonfly's appeal (to me) is that the FRN is thin and light. I think that the stainless or G10 versions sacrifice some of that. Regardless, the Dfly is an excellent, fantastic blade--one of my favorites. The Search function will tell you more.

If you'd like to explore something roughly similar and cheaper, check out the Cold Steel Mini Tough Lite or the Spyderco Cat. There may be a few in the Byrd line that also fit the bill.

Great small knife! The G10 version is slightly beefier due to the liners and G10 scales, couple that with the choil and you have a small knife that performs like a much bigger knife and is comfortable to use (I have L-XL paws). I really like mine.

It's roughly the size of an SAK Cadet opened.
