Spyderco Dragonfly H1 RUST?

Hi
Today I got my dragonfly that I forgot and left on fishing boat about 20 days ago, I can see some rust spots where number 1 is on "H1" mark. See the pictures:

and there is slight discoloration above and bellow "H1" mark:

Other side is fine, unchanged so I presume that blemishes are formed from material used to emboss the number one, am I right? If so, why does spyderco use material on knife that rusts, wouldn't it be simpler to just engrave symbol 1 same as symbol H?
How can I clean this, I tried ultrasonic bath with some isopropyl with no sucess, I also tried rubbing with WD-40 with no sucess. Please help!

Here are some more closeup pitcures of the knife, and blade edge after rough 20 days in saltwater.

Thank you for the help. I rubbed the blemishes off with my thumb. It took about 20 minutes of rubbing, now it's all like new.

My Tasman Salt did almost exactly the same thing after I left it in a cup full of water mixed with kosher salt and then let it air dry for another day, I was curious to test the H1 rust resistance. As mentioned above, it can be scrubbed off easily with a mild abrasive...I stress mild though, H1 can be scratched easily.

It is residue from the machining process if I remember correctly. The small bits of a different steal that are on the tool are rusting, hence why it is just in that part of the knife, too. Pretty interesting, it really helps show what H1 is up against.
