Any other Dragonfly carriers ever think of how cool a bigger Dragonfly would be? 3-3.25 inch VG-10. At a generous price point. What do you guys think? Honestly think it would be a huge hit for Spyderco and us carriers.

I think the Caly and Chaparral are the big brothers to the Dragonfly. Throw in a Native and a UKPK and you've got most of it covered up to about 3". Not all are VG-10 of course, but neither are all Dragonflies.

I have the Caly 3 CF and would agree it could act as the dragonfly. But im talking the exact knife but just bigger and around an $80 street. I think it would be a total win.

I would be all over that without any hesitation. The only thing that keeps me from the Endura/Delica is the lack of a choil. I loooooove the dfly shape, too.

I also love the Dragonfly and his awesome overall shape !
I think it's my top 1 knife !
I would love to see one a bit bigger or only thicker, like a Native 5 ! And build like the Native 5 too !

Now that I have had a minute of thought..
Not only a XL.. But how about a

Dragonfly 2 Fixed Blade!?

Like a little necker with option of horizontal belt carry!

Isn't the Manix 2 not a Mega-dragonfly? [emoji51]
Not any resemblance that I can see..

But just for good measure.. If you take the belly out of the PM2 handle, it could, might, maybe, nahhh not really, be considered a "mega Dragonfly"..???

But now, I'm more fixed on the fixed blade necker...
The Spyderco "Dragon-Tongue" or "Dragon-Tooth".. Lol..

Still I think the Manix has the most resemblance with the dragonfly. Take out the belly and put on a other lock. Voilla

I don't think there is a Dragonfly XL really. The main thing that sets the Dragonfly apart is the really deep in cut on the handle to make it feel bigger than it is. This ergonomic trick is the reason I'm not crazy about the Dragonfly. The middle hump of the PM2 is what makes that knife a dream. The large in cut is not necessary on a larger handle and IMO is not ideal and why it isn't seen much on larger knives.

thats actually a very good idea. not much of a neck knife guy but when im hiking during the summer im usually in my boardshorts so a neck knife is a good option. carrying the skyline fixed with kydex sheath currently.
