I got this knife for a week on a passaround and would like to share my thoughts. I liked this knife from the get go. It has style and ergonomics. The angle of the blade to the handle threw me off for a second but I found it to bring the blade in line with your forearm and eventually made me want to disect something to try out how it points, hehe. I often cary a recurve blade so I didnt find the kris blade to be to hard to get used to. I dont think it would be my choice for an EDC however. The VG-10 blade was sharp and stayed so during my cutting. It sharpened easily if you know hoe to shrpen a recurve. The inset parts of the kris stay much sharper than the outside bumps. This gave me a good place to start a slice evn when the blade wasnt at its sharpest but could make for irregularities in long cuts. Since this was a passaround knife I stuck to light cardboard (smooth thin) and rope, paper, and magazine type materials. Construction and fit was very good. No blade play to speak of and solid lock up. blade was centered in the handle when closed. A very fun knife. I took to carrying it with my edc and used it when i didnt mind the kris shape. I would not hesitate to recomend this knife as a good addition to a collection.
