hi

i already have several heavyweight folders and i'm searching for a thin and long blade...

spyderco endura is one possibility but if you have others...

specifications :

  • at least 20 cm

  • plain edge

  • clip

  • under 100 dollars

  • thin and long blade

thank you for recommandations guys :)

Depends on what you consider thin and long. Two options that come to mind are the Benchmade Griptillian, and the Spyderco Chokwe.

Personally, I would go with the Endura. Mine is slightly modified, thinned out, honed to a razors edge and fileworked and I love it like no other.

For long and slim get a Endura 4 waved. For more "skinny" cut off the wave.

I have an exskelibur, its a very light weight knife, and not much of a detent holding the blade in.
If you plan on using the knife for any thing that comes along, then the endura is the one you want.

I actually prefer the ergonomics on the byrd cara cara 2 to the ones on the endura. The handle fits my fingers better. I can get a comfortable grip in the middle of the handle instead of a cramped grip at the bottom or top of the handle. It also has the choil at the base of the blade that reduces the risk of cutting myself when closing the knife one handed. The endura wins on blade steel and fit and finish though.

For a few more buck, Al mar eagle. 9" long open. Super thin. A folding steak knife. Love mine.

I'm going to have to second the police , though I don't like the SS variations. I would spend a bit mpre and get the police 3 g10.

You gotta get an Endura, an all around great folder.

BM710's another one to look at. These two get the most carry when I want to go beyond 3.5.
