Do the FRN Enduras and Delicas have the same lock strength as the G-10 models? It seems like the G-10 models have stronger locks but that might just be because the G-10 doesn't flex like the FRN. Also it looks like the green G-10 Enduras/Delicas are disco'ed and I really want one of each in G-10 does Spydeco always have a G-10 model in some color? I want black!

Hi Kutz,

The G10 Delica/Endura are both still available, you just need to resort to clever search tactics. I have a preference for the G10 models vs the FRN. The liners on the G10 models are much more substantial and add a little weight, but I don't mind. I like a little heft to a knife, it feels more solid (IMO).
I'm not sure that the lock is stronger, but the logical assumption would be yes. Thicker liners, better over all construction, better lock. If you find one, you can do a blade and lockbar swap with the FFG ZDP Endura/Endura.

+1 RevDevil. The steel liners really make for a more solid feeling knife. The G-10 is nice and grippie too.

I just got a brand new FFG Delica in FRN.
I sure hope it doesn't melt in my pocket or break when I baton it through railroad tracks with a pile driver.

Darn.
