id like to make this a poll but I don't see the option. I find I usually forget about the opening feature and come close to getting cut a lot and also ruin my jeans a bit on my endure emerson opener but my delica 4 without it I seam to like a lot more.

I always carry my waved endura when going for a walk. That's the only time. It's my buddy.

I have tried carrying mine but I, too, would forget about the wave when pulling the knife out of my pocket. I like the blade shape though.

I back pocket a waved Tasman for about 4 years and counting. Before that was a D4 waved but I lost it. Got another but haven't carried it since joining BF and finding out about so many other knives I never knew about. It was my favorite knife for a long time though.

Dedicated wave fan here; I've never had issues forgetting or cutting myself.

Another Delica wave owner. I've had mine a couple years. Use it mainly when I'm on walks because I do love the quick opening. No issue with tearing up pants, but I'm not one of those guys who does it over and over again. If I lost it, I would buy another one pronto. I also carry Mini-Grip and Native.

I've been happily carrying an Endura Wave off and on for years as an EDC and, after a recent handle upgrade, have been carrying it even more often. It doesn't seem to put much extra wear on my jeans pockets; no more than any other folder anyways. It's a dead reliable knife and still remains one of my favourites after many more expensive models have come and gone.

I had a d4 wave, i ground the wave off and made a mini-stretch. I love the idea of a wave but I do not love spyderco's implementation. I now carry a d4 FFG that I cut a small notch wave in, I also carry many other knives with notched waves I've cut in their blades. The small notch works just as reliablable but can easily be not used with a slightly different draw, its also easier on the pocket and [i think] looks alot better.

Two knives I hope never sell or trade. I'd like to see the SE versions make a comeback.

It seams all you have delica a waves how much less wide is a delica or the endura? I hate the width of the endura I love the concept though

You're looking for a narrower knife than an endura? Good luck.

More money but check out the Caly 3.5 for a similar length, steel and operation (lock back) but slightly thinner and G10.

You can cut a more functional AND better looking wave than the factory [huge] delica, endura and matriarch ones. Check out some of Charie_Mike's work.

I've cut waves in my Delica, several kershaw's and a CRKT and all function as well as the oversized spyderco ones. Have a look at some Emerson's and see how the original are done for compairson.

I've got a few waved Spydercos (Matriarch, Endura 4 and Delica 4), and enjoy them a lot. In fact, they seem to work better than my Emersons. I wish the folks at Spyderco would have cut the wave where the hole is, there's no need to have both.
