I went to a local pawn shop today and I found a spyderco endura with g-2 steel for $25 made in seki city japan. At $25 I just went ahead and bought it. I don't know much about g-2. Is this an older model? What is it worth?

G-2 a.k.a. GIN-1 is Gingami-1 steel. Thirty years ago it was the gold standard of Japanese cutlery steels, and in my opinion is still pretty darned good. The G-2 mark was used from 1992-1994, so the knife is from that time. You gave $25, so I'm guessing it's worth $25. Depending on condition, it could fetch twice that on eBay, but I wouldn't count on it.

Ok thanks I don't want to sell it anyway I was just wondering if I got a deal. Ive already put it to use. Its my first fully serrated spyderco and Im liking it so far.

Congrats, you bought a bargain. Bought my very first Spyderco Enura PE in 1992 with G2 steel. That is pretty early in Spyderco range. What you have is a piece of Spyderco history, not something you can really fix a price to :)
