Aloha 91bravo! I'm sensing there will be plenty on the market when they hit. One is going to a friend as his first "real" knife and the other dos are for moi - one as a user and one as a backup. Endura is a favorite design and K390 same as far as steels go. Hoping you'll have plenty of time/opportunity to get one! Slice on!

Have a look at the catalog or any of the various online vendors. It's a dark Bluish Gray or Grayish blue, depending on how you see it.

Is it a different color than the V-toku2 Endura?

^ not sure, I just have looked at photos online in the preview ads and noticed a light blue ring in the clip hole space.

From what I’ve seen the k390 handle is a brighter blue/green than the vtoku2

I'm betting that's an optical illusion. Kinda like this:

The colors are the same, but the juxtaposition makes them seem different.

I recall reading I believe on the Spyderco forum that Bohler only makes K390 once a year as a single melt (since it has limited applications and is expensive) and that’s part of why these have taken so long to get to market (they missed the cycle and had to wait months for more to be made).
