Spyderco endura K390

Contact whoever you bought the knife from to get a refund or exchange. Explain to them the problem. Who did you buy it from?

Are you talking about when the blade is open and you cut into something the blade moves a bit? If that's the case it happens with Seki backlock models. It will reduce a little over time. Doesn't affect lockup or strength.

I received a delica 4 in k390 for Christmas. It has zero, and I mean zero play in either direction when locked open. But when you release the lock the blade drops like a pendulum, swings freely. This is my only seki city spyderco. Maybe try tightening the pivot screw a tad? I would think it may just need a bit of adjustment l, but should be capable of a smooth easy action with no play.

When the blade is open Has some.
Vertical movement even if the pivot is tightened
But I'm told it doesn't hurt the performance..e.m.r.e.t.u.t.'.n.s.o.t.d.o.m.'.I.t..detistoiefntmvlir

Both, the ZDP Endura and K390 Police came from the factory with zero play.
Replaced the scales on the Endura and never had serious issues with play,
I'm using it primarily for cutting some carboard, blade play is minuscule, hardly noticeable.
As others suggested - adjusting pivot screw should help.

My knife is new and every screw on it was loose.
I finally got around checking it. That's what the problem was.smloets'thtgkeednrtyln
