The tip of my ten year old, but rarely used, spyderco endura broke while trying to split some small tree branches for firewood this past weekend. It has a serrated edge. I only lost about one or two mm off the tip. What should I do?

You can regrind the tip yourself, or send it to Spyderco. I know they charge a small fee for regrinding tips. If you feel that it was a defect, and the tip should not have broken with what you were doing, contact Warranty and Repair and tell them. They will check it out, and if it proves to be a defect in material, they will repair or replace it for free.
