This is my Spyderco Endura with ZDP-189 steel. It is the original of this model, with the saber grind, as opposed to the flat grind now offered by the factory.
It has just come back from Spyderco with their exquisite factory edge restored. I never abused this knife. It had a little pocket time, and the edge lost its amazing sharpness just a little bit from my cutting tests.
As users will know, ZDP will hold its edge for a looong time, but once it's gone, it takes a bit of effort to restore it. That is why I had the pros at the Golden factory resharpen it for me.
I am selling it because I have a bunch of Spydies, especially variants of the classic Endura--more than I can ever use, with plenty still to leave someday to my grandsons.
This one up for sale has my old Spyderco Collector's Club number on the blade.
The knife also has a green paracord lanyard to match the British green of the FRN handles. This lanyard works by pulling down the skull bead to form the loop. When the bead is up, the lanyard is far less likely to catch on things. Pull it down, and you have, in this case, a short lanyard that fits around one of your fingers to retain the knife in your hand.
The lock-up is solid. The knife has seen very little use aside from the above-mentioned cutting tests. There is some scuffing on the pocket clip from being switched to the left side and carried in my Levi 501s.
I am offering this knife for $45.00 plus $5.00 shipping via USPS Priority Mail to the continental U.S. No foreign sales. Paypal only.
