hey guys and gals,

i am looking for a new knife to put in my turnout gear. i am really liking the looks of the spyderco enuff. im just worried about the size. the 3 current knives im looking at are the enuff h1, tasman salt, and pacific salt. i really like the idea of having a fixed blade because i have to wear fire gloves and i think it would be better for cutting from entanglements like electrical wires in an emergency. i am just really concerned about the size. 3.25 to 4 inches in my normal knife size and that is well below that at 2.75. in an ideal world i would have the jumpmaster on my gear but i would hate to see the look of the old laddies or kids when i try to cut their seatbelt. not to mention the looks i would get from other firefighters, cops and paramedics on scene.

thanks a lot for the help guys!

I don't own an Enuff because I am not a fan of FRN handles, but since you seem to be after a small serrated-edge fixed blade with serious rust-resistance, it might be the only game in town. And you can't go far wrong with a Spyderco.
