Spyderco Exclusive Distributor Knives, when do they typically come out ?

New to Spyderco but after doing some research on the Sprint Runs it seems the Distributors do some Exclusive knives as well and being from Ohio I really feel bad I missed the Rivers Edge Cutlery Native 5. My question is do these come out at a certain time or just sprinkled through out the year ? and do they do something every year ?

It looks like St. Nick is doing the Dodo here at the end of the week..

Any info would be helpful...

It's just sprinkled/random. They aren't timed for a specific period. Last I heard it was like 2+ years between when a dealer requests an exclusive and they're made just because of how backed up Spyderco is with manufacturing.

When they're ready, they go to a dealer, and the dealer usually releases them basically right away.
