Ok, so I lied... It's just north of Golden about 2 miles on highway 93 (on the west side). Just in case anyone is coming through Denver, it's really easy to find, and has a friendly staff! It seems that this is also where warranty work is done.

They had a great selection, and also knives from other makers, some sebenzas and Morans, if I'm not mistaken. A CR Project 2 pretty much took my attention and refused to release it... I had to walk out with shaking hands and a cold sweat. Next time, I'm bringing my buddy, Mr. Visa....

What is the phone number of the Spyderco Factory Outlet in Denver, CO? Do they do phone or internet orders? Are their knives brand new or have minor defects?

The phone number is (303) 279-8613. It is at 4565 N. Hwy 93, and I think their hours are from 10 - 6 Mo - Sa, but you might want to call to be sure.

They have good deals on their ceramic sharpening benchstones, but availability is limited. Most of the knives looked like good, but not necessarily great deals, you might want to call and check with them. I got a large "rescue" (sheepsfoot, serrated) blade for around $50.

I don't know about phone or internet, the knives looked new, but I didn't ask. I was there to get the benchstones, and had a hungry 10 month old daughter with me, so I didn't linger or ask many questions... It was suppertime!

They don't sell "seconds" normally at the the store. Once a year they have a sale on seconds and discontinued items. They sell their knives at a discount from their MSRP but you can get better prices through dealers on the Web. The advantage of going to the store is the ability to see all of their models up close and personal. Usually taxes offset the shipping charges though (unless you are a Colorado resident).

They usually have some specials and non-catalog items that are interesting. They had a lot of kitchen knives the last time I was there. One of the things I bought was a titanium bladed kitchen knife to play with. If your in the area head north west of Denver to the city of Golden and head north of town on the road to Boulder. BTW, highway 93 is a nice drive. For Cold War fans the highway takes you past the decommisioned Rocky Flats plutonium plant.
