Call them at 1-800-828-1925, mumble-to-6pm, mountain time, Tuesday-through-mumble. (You can fill in the missing details by listening to their answering machine, if you want.)

I'm confused about the status of the SFO web presence.

Last I understood, it was being folded into the Spyderco website. Is this still happening, and if so, when?

Actually, if you go wander around the Spyderco web site, these days, you'll find little "Add to Cart" buttons on all the knife descriptions. I believe this represents the first phase of SFO being folded into the Spyderco site. What they don't have yet is any sort of listing of all the odds-and-ends that they have around (last few of some knife, spare parts, etc.) -- for that, you just have to call and ask. Their old site (www.fe3stone.com) has little more than their phone number and address, which is where I cut'n'paste from when people ask for their number.

In the last few weeks, I've called them and gotten: a) a Matriarch, b) their last two plain-edged CF Crickets, and c) a silver clip for my BF Native. I've also called them several times now looking for a black clip for my Starmate, but those aren't available yet. None of these are things you'll find anywhere on their site (well, to be fair, the Matriarch will likely never be on their site; that's understandable).

Given that putting all the goodies on the web is/will be a large, lengthy task, what I'd really like to see is some sort of mailing list that we could get on, where they'd mail out an inventory list every few weeks or so (it needn't have prices or quantities, just descriptions), so we could see what's available. If their inventory is on the computer, this would be a simple bit of programming; otherwise, well, it'd be somewhat harder...

Yeah, great, Carl, that's what I need, an e-mail reminder every couple of weeks or so to buy more knives. You're trying to get my wife to leave me, aren't you?

Carl - We plan a "close outs, discontinued & oddballs section as soon as we get good enough to put something on for a quick run and then pull it off when product is gone.

Black clips should be available shortly. Working out packaging and prices.
