Has anyone sent a knife back to Spyderco for re-sharpening recently?
It has been 7 weeks since my Police model was delivered to Spyderco and I am starting to wonder what is taking so long. If this is the customary wait, I have no problem with it, I am just curious as to the times others have experienced.

Thanks

I sent my knife to Spyderco on a Wed. and it was returned Wed. or Thurs. of the next week. That was for sharpening and a regrind of a broken tip. I would start making some inquiries tomorrow.

I recently sent my Native back for regrinding and sharpening, it was received at the Spyderco Factory on a Monday. I got my Native back the following Wednesday.

If I was you, I'd be wanting to know what the heck is going on!!

Thanks for the replies guys, I am going to call them tommorow first thing! I still have the UPS receipt and tracking number for the knife. According to the tracking number, my knife was delivered to Golden, CO, on April 2nd, 2002. So it has actually been 8 weeks as of tommorrow! I sure hope they can sort this out!

I sent mine from Canada and it took about 6-8 weeks, mostly because they sent me the cost reply by snail mail rather than the requested e-mail.

Ranger,

Call Mike here at Spyderco, 800-525-7770 X255 8-5 MST or if it is more convenient, email me a contact number for you and I'll have Mike give you a ring. Our turn around time is normally less than a week for sharpening.

Joyce @ Spyderco

Joyce,
Thanks for the info! I talked to Mike this afternoon; He was helpful and friendly, and we got everything straightened out. Once again, an A++ for Spyderco as a company. They take good care of their customers!!
