Spyderco feat. in movies?

It's been years since I last saw the movie, "Training Day". I did not notice it then, but when I watched this movie last night (Netflix recently added it to their collection), I noticed the knife that was featured in a scene was a Spyderco! I didn't think to pause to see if it really was, but from the shape of the blade and the thumb hole, it looked like one of full serrated blade for Spyderco.

Anyway, I just thought it was kinda cool to see it featured in a movie. It got me to wonder if any other movies featured any knives from Spyderco. Knife for thought.
 
I think I remember seeing a Native in Act of Valor. It was clipped to one of the seals chest rigs, towards the end of the movie when they were in the tunnels.

It's been a while but I also think there was a Spyderco in Anaconda. Ice Cubes character had it.

Yep. There is a thread called "Spyderco sightings" on the factory forum that has a bunch. The one in Training Day is a serrated Police Model. The Police shows up often, including a scene in Fight Club, several scenes in Parker and The Avengers (the one with Ralph Feines and Uma Thurmon, not Marvel's).

The Vallaton is a beautiful knife. I only wish it was a little more EDC friendly. Would love to carry a smaller sized Vallaton around every day.
 
Sadly, I spotted a Dragonfly in L&O SVU being used by a sicko that was talking about torturing children. Why can't these prop guys go down to the local corner store or truck stop and buy a $5 crapola folder for the bad guys to use?
