I know this 2 knives are very different, but what i am looking for is a general utility fixed blade. One that can do chopping, batoning as well.
Esee 6 has a very good reputation as an outdoor knife, but now the Spyderco rock is in a full flat grind and has a VG-10 blade. I'm worried that the handle scales of Esee 6 is difficult to wash off when blood and sweat gets into it. I'm also afraid that chopping may chip the edge off the Rock.
Actually, i'll be pairing up a shorter knife with one of them. If i get the spyderco rock, i'll get an esee 4. If i choose Esee 6, i'll get a fallkniven F1.
So, what are your opinions??
