So i was thinking about it and if they made a paramilitary 2 fixed blade i think i would buy it the day it was released. I was wondering what other peoples opinions would be on that.

Interesting. What does "paramilitary 2 fixed blade" mean? What characteristics would it have?

If it was a fixed blade for bushcraft use, it would probably be called an expensive Mora due to the lack of spine thickness that seems to occupy the minds of far too many people. The tip is also relatively fragile, and I just don't see the PM2 as a fixed blade, for those reasons. Great knife though. I have 3 of them.

Oh I'm thinking he's after a fixed blade that looks exactly like the Paramilitary 2 when it's in locked open position. You know, without the lock...or pivot.

I think it's a nice thought. I know of a few folks that have paired up their Mule Team blades to look like their PM2 counterparts, and while it's not IT, it's close.

Yeah like with the dpx hest and hest 2. I like the concept of having the "same" knife just without the lock. i think the pm2 is an amazing knife as is.

I wouldn't want one, for the same reason that I sold my MULE team knives - if I don't mind carrying a thin blade with a weak tip, I can just take a Para2 or Military and have a similar blade that folds in half and takes up less space in my pocket or on my belt.
