Spyderco Factory outlet is having a great sale. I just bought a Fred Perrin Black Blade for $49 bucks with free shipping. I already have one, but I could not pass up this offer. Light, strong, and razor sharp. The FB04B is a great fixed blade knife!

I concur! The Perrin is great and this price is simply ridiculous. If I didn't already have one I'd order one today.

I didn't really need another fixed blade but that's a nice looking knife and such a deal, I ordered one. :D :D :D

I just tried to order it. It is currently unavailable so I guess you all bought the last ones. :grumpy:

bear123,
Thanks for the heads up on the perrins. Got one for 50.00 and NO shipping costs. Just when I think Papa Spydy and co. couldn't get any better, they pull something like this. :) Great job.

Yeah by Sat afternoon they were all outta Perrins. Big bummer, but the Lum Tantos were still available so I got one of those at a great price, saved enough to have some kydex made for it. Can't wait as it will be my first tanto. But if anyone decides that the Perrin isn't there cup o' tea and wants to turn it right around let me know please.

Got mine two days ago. No regrets. Currently carrying IWB at 11:00 (I'm a lefty) with a gutted loop of black para-cord. It nestles next to the family jewels with no printing. I made a fob out of knotted paracord as seen in many pictures on-line. Excellent shank for a superb price. Shoulda got two.

Just got my Lum tanto. Very nice especially for 75.00. interesting handle shape feels great in reverse grip. Gotta do something about the sheath though if I am gonna carry it. The qualityis good but not real practical for defense. One of the things I really lke abou this knife is how classic it looks. The brown micarta and brown leather sheath make it kinda look like a hunting knife or outdoor utility knife but damn it feels like a serious fighter.
Thanks Spyderco and glad the standard bladedPerrins are still around.

Ok, so I just read a post on knife forums from a guy who was looking for info on the Fred Perrin spydie he had just got at a great price from the SFO and I thought to myself "wait just one cotton pickin' minute, they ran out of those sometime Saturday" Well it turns out they are still in stock and have about four left (yeah I bought one) but also expect another shipment from the factory. I just assumed that at that price when the SFO was out then they were gone but they ain't so if ya want one they are still around. Very happy news for me.
