Spyderco for around $50 with a choil?

I'm shopping for a Christmas present for my brother this year and I'd love to get him a Spyderco.
I'll probably settle on a Delica or Endura, depending on my next conversation with him and what type of blade-length he'd like.
However I'd like to get him a model with a choil because mine are so comfortable on my Caly3 and Para2. Obviously both those models cost more than the Delica/Endura and also the Sage costs more too.
Is there anything else out there with a choil thats priced comparatively to the Delica/Endura ($50-60)?
Thanks

You can find a VG10 Stretch or a Native around that price. I've seen VG10 Stretches go for just under $50 on ebay a few times.

I think a Manix2 would be an excellent choice. It's around $75 and that's worth every penny when you count the materials used and the craftsmanship of the knife:thumbup:

The FRN UKPK's are only $40 or so, and they have the same great ergos as a Caly 3. Not having a lock isn't nearly as big a deal as you might think, since the knife is so small, and the choil acts as safety feature. Plus it makes it extremely easy to open and close one handed.

Wow these are both great choices.
After a quick ebay search both the Native and Stretch can be had for around $50.
The Native looks great because its SU30V and Made in the USA. What are the differences between the Native II, III etc.?
The Stretch looks great too because of the blade-shape. On the Spyderco site it says its a great outdoor knife which is what he's looking for. Seems these are VG-10 and Made in Japan? VG-10 is great so no worries there.
Man I love hunting for a new knife!

The longer blade makes the Stretch more versatile. The thin Full Flat Grind also makes for better cutting, IMO. Just make sure your brother knows not to use it for prying, as a screwdriver etc.

+1
Also, you have time until Christmas. G10 UKPK and Stretch above your budget, G10 UKPK and few Stretch models will be discontinued, so there is a chance to find a good deal. Check dealer and put all them on your e-bay's watch list as well.

Actually the Stretch seems to be more around $70 but maybe if I hunt around a little I can do better. He's coming out here for Thanksgiving and I may give it to him then because we have a camping trip planned.
