Spyderco Forester-Will it chip if I use it for chopping....

I know its not carbon steel etc. but for the price I think its good deal.Any opinions welcome.......

That depends on what you are chopping with it. They don't do too well on concrete blocks. The rather thick convex edge on mine does not bite deeply into hard wood, so it takes longer to chop through a thick branch, but mine has gone through 3" diameter black locust logs without damage or significant dulling.
