So I was trying to register on the Spyderco forums, you know, the one on the Spyderco website, and it says my email is invalid.

Any suggestions?

I use a Hotmail account by the way. I never bothered to get my Comcast email started up.

Your Hotmail is a problem.
This is from Spyderco Forum
"In order to register you must supply a valid E-Mail address. FREE E-Mail accounts are not considered valid. We regret that due to the increase in SPAM activity, we cannot accept anyone registering with a free E-Mail account."

Agh. Oh well. I like it here.
The Spyderco forum is really great, almost my second home.;)

It's worth it to set up your Comcast account, lots of great people there (well, most are here too, but you know what I mean.)

yeah i must get onto that froum , does an iinet account work? i`ll go find out.

If you like talking pure Spyderco (with the occasional tangent on tye dye shirts or Tang) you should join the factory forum.

Hush now, we never talk about Tang over there!

Sometimes info is released over there before here...some info never makes it over here...and vice versa. We do talk about some other knives over there too. You see many of the same "faces" in both places. Some of the topics are the same; there is much more Spydie info flowing over there.

Did someone mentione Tang? :)

Yea, I run across those "tang"ents all the time lol. Nothing soothes a thread gone bad and hot tempered forumites like a dose of tang :D

I claim no personal responsibility for any threads which devolve into discussions on the merits of Tang, Aardvarks, or Zombies.:p

Tang is the unofficial drink of the Spyderco forum;)

Trust me it is worth the time it would take to get on the Spyderco.com Forum. I have been on there close to 2 years now and it is by far the best and most objective, well educated Forum I've even been on that is "product specific". Not taking anything away from BF because I am a paying member here too and I am about to renew my membership here but if you like Spydercos these 2 Forums really go "hand in hand".

Both Bladeforums and Spyderco.com Forums are well monitored and they both keep the trolls down to a bare minimum. I am also a member on 4 other Forums besides these 2 but I spend about 90% of my time either here on BF or on the Spyderco.com Forums. What can I say they both are the best in their particular areas of blade interest.

apparently im on the "moderators waiting list " to get on this forum. (the spyderco.com forum)

Both forums are great I prefer the Spyderco forum but BF has a lot of other info too. (stop telling them about the tang. And never mention Agent AA7)

The Spyderco Forums moderator lost her father to cancer this past Monday. Please give her a bit of time to catch up after she returns to work this Monday.

Got to be kidding man, it's the worlds best beers we talk about each year, as soon as the summer kicks in.
