Spyderco G clip on ESEE 4?

I was wondering if the g clip would fit on the ESEE 4 sheath, if not I will be getting a tech lock. I have the paracord belt loop right now but I don't like the knife that close to my body, I would like to have it a little farther away.

I am going to Colorado next week and my uncle lives in Golden so I will be stopping by the SFO and most likely pick up a g clip. So, I was wondering if it will fit the ESEE 4 sheath and not be hugging my body like the paracord but not be too bulky.

I tried the G-clip on the RC-4 and it only seems to work on a slant on either side of the sheath which could be a good position. The Tek-Lock can go either vertical or horizontal so I feel it might be good to have both so you have options
