Has a collaboration between Spyderco and Casio ever been considered for their excellent G Shock line? There seems to be a bunch of collabs coming out from Casio. The new In4mation line, the Bape, ICERC, WCCS, etc. Film-maker Spike Lee even had a limited edition signature model that quickly sold out. A Spyderco G Shock would be awesome. Both companies offer excellent products that are tough as nails. Both companies enjoy huge followings within the law enforement/fire/rescue/military communies.

I think this would be a no brainer. Instant backorder situation. Spyderco could offer a package deal Rescue knife and G Shock in some kind of collector's tin. Thoughts?

the gshock on my wrist is trembling at the thought of a spyderco replacement

all i gotta say is that the spyderco design & logo + gshock toughness = game over

ive been looking at gshocks for awhile now and couldnt quite pull the trigger if gshock made a spyderco watch i would instantly buy :-D

I would get one- I love my gshock- hasn't left my wrist(literally) In 3 years

Here's a quick snapshot. Frogman and Rescue. The two "ideal" models for a Spyderco/Casio collaboration (IMO). Cheers.

Great idea, although i cant see how the Spyderco hole would be incorperated into a G-Shock. It has to be something that makes me think "Spyderco", when i look at it.

thats easy..... a gshock spyderco edition. it would be more of the spyder than the hole especially on a watch. maybe the hands could have small holes building up to big ones in the center kinda like the necklace sal is always wearing?

What about a G-Shock themed Spyderco knife? I'd buy that (I don't really wear a watch other than when I'm hiking or doing something where I don't have power for a day or so).

I'd almost rather see something a little more refined in a Spyderco theme - like a Casio Pathfinder :D

what about a spyderhole in the watch band?

Yes that is what I was thinking myself. Also, instead of the "G" it could be the bug logo. ;)

As far as using Reactor watches, that might work for something like a Sebenza or something, but in order to keep this reasonably priced and true to spirit of a tough bullet proof watch, Casio is the only choice.

I collect watches and have over 2 dozen G Shocks. LOL... Id get one! ... any excuse for a new watch! :)

How about a Casio Pathfinder and Spyderco Bushcraft pairing? Take both to the next generation.......

Count me in! The GW-6900 is one of the best, practical watches I've owned. Atomic/Solar is awesome. Only comes off for dress shirts.

A few tools of the trade..
