Spyderco Gayle Bradley Folder Exclusive

Now that some of the current and discontinued models from Taichung plant have had exclusives run, I figure it's time to bring up a (I'm assuming) a popular request.

Wouldn't a Gayle Bradley 1 (or 2) look awesome with CPM-M4 with Taichung TiCN coating, Blacked out liners/hardware, And Jade scales? Or the same blade, Liners, Hardware, And Micarta scales?!? If they brought back the Tuff and Rock Lobster, You'd think a GB1 would be a slam dunk.

What do you think??
 
My thoughts exactly on the GB1 when I saw the Tuff release! I already have a GB1 and wouldn't mind a different flavor such as Cruwear or Magnacut. But M4 is my favorite steel so I wouldn't turn that down. TiCN and blacked out is a great idea.
 
Usually these what if/ should make scenarios make me eyeroll.
However I feel differently upon this idea.

I'de be in.
M4 or cruwear, ticn and Carta would be ideal.

Awesome, and if I may be so bold, the TiCN on a hollow-ground M4 blade is truly something to behold. (gratuitous pic to follow)

I hear you! While everyone's opinion is valid, Some of the request over on the Spyderco forums are far out or redundant. As soon as I saw the DLT Tuff (And now the TiCN Smock) I couldn't get the Bradley Folder out of mind!

I missed out on the smock, however the tuff is awesome and I really like the ticn even more so than dlc.

I had a chance to get a gb2 but I opted for the kapara at the time.
After all the gb praise I see; makes me wonder what I'm missing.
 
I could go for a GB2 with Cruwear, ticn coating, blacked out hardware, and full CF scales. Or G10 of some cool color (not brown...blech!!) I guess I could change them if I don't like them though, so there's that.

But just a Cruwear GB2 would make me very happy!
 
GB1 is discontinued so only way to bring it back is with changes. And there's nothing "perfect" about those scales. Aside from being ugly, the knife would benefit from grippier scales since there's not much of a finger guard.

GB1 is kind of a cult classic. It's been out of production for awhile. I think the demand would be there. Honestly, the GB2 didn't do it for me.

Ugly? Egads man, I know there is no accounting for taste, but ugly? Literally my favorite stock scales.

Ha! That's what I was thinking too. We're all entitled to our opinions but I think ugly is a little harsh. I've actually grown to really like the CF/G10 laminate scales. I have several knives with it (including 2 GB1s and a GB2). So a color change might be nice. Otherwise I think it's a good handle material

I've always loved the look of this knife. I think it was a distributor exclusive. ❓ GB1 with this color scheme and M4 (of course) would be a great resurrection piece IMO.
 
While I'd still buy an exclusive GB2, The Original Gayle Bradley folder would be awesome with the DLT Brown G10 (Micarta would be ideal) TiCN M4 blade. It's an iconic Spyderco that newer people in the hobby haven't been able to experience, So perfect for a dealer exclusive!
