Spyderco GB2 information (discontinued or delayed?)

Hello,
I was wondering if anyone knew when the GB2 would be back in stock I ordered one and have been waiting for a long while. It was a knife I always wanted. I hope I didn't wait to long and its now discontinued or something. Anyone know anything about it? Maybe Sal or anyone ?

I guess I could have waited on buying my manix m4 and pm2 M4. Anyone else notice right when a model catches their eye they are getting disco'd. Haha. Maybe its just me ie.. the Slysz bowie, the Tuff, Nirvana spydiewrench,Byrdwrench etc. I always come a day late or a dollar short 😂 Thanks anyways for your time and entertaining my amusement. I handled the very first one that arrived in my locale (Columbus, Ohio metro area) and hated it (due to my steaming love for the GB1). Ignored it until they showed up in stock a year ago or so. Then I ordered one due to the undying love for the GB2 from some folks hear that otherwise regularly echo my tastes... OK, I get it now. I ended up selling an Umnumzaan because I truly think that the GB2 is a better knife in the same form factor and at considerably under half price. Be patient until they show up - then show no patience AT ALL.

I think they just go in and out of stock periodically. Wait a bit, and they’ll come back around. I had to do the same thing and eventually picked another one up as well.

There's a dealer on EB selling GB2's who still has 3 for sale that are NIB.

A lot higher than MAP pricing (assuming it's still being produced and you can catch one in stock) but, if you can't wait or are worried you'll never be at the right place at the right time, they're there if you're willing to pay the price.

There are also a couple of GB1's for sale there too but that'll cost you more. FWIW, I own 1 of each and I think the GB1 is better.

Thanks guys I appreciate the information. I definitely can't afford the EB but I have a preorder one in and glad to hear that its just an inventory fluctuation.
 
It's standard production, per Taz Kristi on spyderco forums. It's too popular to get discontinued at the moment! You will love it when you get your hands on it!

Even with MAP pricing, The GB2 is still one of the best quality knives for the cost, Made with CPM-M4 today!
