  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Spyderco Goddard sprint run performance

That depends entirely on your definition or hard use. Would I baton with it? Definitely not, nor would I with almost any folder, and likewise nor would I pry with it. That said though, I've seen the Salt Series knives (Also linerless one piece FRN handles) hold up to some impressive tasks. FRN is very tough stuff...I have an older FRN Native that shrugged off a 275 foot fall onto gravel and you'd be hard pressed to identify the impact mark on the handle and it's still fine, and I've carried my Goddard up a number of towers because it's light and is a great size to use while wearing gloves. That said, I carry a CruWear Military at work most times lately because I love the toughness of the steel and I think it's a stronger platform, and still very lightweight. If you're attracted to the design and only intend to use it for cutting (No prying or chopping/batonning) it should hold up just fine. I'll include a shots of both knives, including on the job.

Thats got to be a fun job! Exercise. Adrenaline rush from the danger. Great view. Being out in nature. So much better than being in an office cubicle

When you're allergic to everything outside it can have its drawbacks...and in the winter it can be incredibly damn miserable. But it definitely can be good fun at times...I'm looking into a career change and I'll miss it for sure (Especially running the crane trucks which is definitely my forte), but I think it's a better long term plan.
