I have a friend at college who recently showed me a knife that he has been carrying. he apparently found it. He had no idea the brand, it is labeled spyderco, seiko, japan

but here is the deal, what model is this?
I know very little about spyderco and figure this is the best place to ask

sorry for the bad image, its a cellphone picture

the knife is about 3.5 inches or so closed (big guestimate....i suck at estimating lengths). seems to be 2 different typse of metals on the handles, so if anyone has any idea on the handle type I would appreciate that too

thanks for the help in advance

It is know as a tuffram worker. The handles are aluminum with a hard anodization coating.

thanks man, i know for a fact that the handles are tough as hell.....they stood up to a chainsaw, apparently that is how it was found lol

they hit it after going down through a branch

any idea on if they are still made or when they were made (as well as rareity....its not worth much because of condition after the chainsaw lol, but I'm just curious)

Long discontinued.Without looking it up I'd say 1998.
