Hey Guys
Two things, did anyone notice the Spyderco Vallotton in the first season of Gotham Episode 19. Always cool to see a knife in a show or movie. In this case it was in the hands of a serial killer and I thought no wonder knives get a bad rap and laws get passed banning them or limiting them. If people knew that the vast majority of crimes involving a knife were committed with a kitchen knife I wonder if they would just smarten up or ban kitchen knives?

Given that the "thug" image of the automatic knife persists to this day - despite being an artifact of the 1950s - makes me pessimistic about any chance of changing public perception of anything that is generally seen as a weapon.

I mean, there are college-educated adults who still think weed is addictive and harmful, based solely on what they have heard anecdotally or in their formative school years - the general public is dumb and doesn't often go out of their way to research something they know little about. Knee-jerk reactions based on ignorance and the popular opinion is the norm.

A certain character in season 2 uses a CS Steel Tiger karambit. At one point in the episode you can clearly see the markings on the blade.

This is a good post. I like this post.

Haven't seen the second season yet it's not on Netflix will keep an eye out for the Cold Steel. How did I miss the contego in Daredevil. Anyway I don't know about you guys but I love seeing knives I know and like in movies and TV shows.

Kind of made since though. He was a classier kind of character, with a classier kind of knife.

Just saw a Spyderco in Rise of the Villains: The Son of Gotham"
