I was able to pick one of these up recently, found some old inventory at a store...was brand new, but no box. :-( FRN is just a tad brighter on one side from sitting in a case for years on display. It's a spyderedge.

Can anyone tell me more about this one? I've done a few searches here and really came up with not much. Ebay has zero history of sales or info to reference.

Was it a Sprint Run? or a USN exclusive? Any idea of how old.

I'm just curious as to what I've got. I love this color of FRN, wish they would do more with this color...but I've read that it's been sort of reserved for USN exclusives...

I wish it was a plain edge though. Really makes me want to consider even the G10 sprint version right now.

The Jester came out in 2003 and the lime green wasn't a color initially released so it was sometime after that but before 2006.It wasn't a sprint run or USN exclusive,just normal production.Aus-6 blade steel available in plain and fully serrated.

I have one too, that I stumbled upon in a shop as you did. I saw one go for close to $100 on eBay. Was shocked!

Lime Green better not be just reserved for USN. I'm still holding out hope that Sal is going to PM me some day and say they are going to make an FRN Dragonfly and Squeak in Lime Green.

I was lucky to pick up a Lime Green Jester once in a trade, but If I knew there wouldn't be any more regular production Spydies in Lime Green back when they came out, I woulda picked up a few more.

By the way, I'm a Lime Green fanatic.

Thanks for the replies guys. Glad to know I didn't just miss something obvious. I thought for sure it was a sprint since I couldn't find anything.

@brightb - a $100! Holy Smokes. I don't love the knife that much! ;-)
