I’ve been debating the Junction since before the discontinuation sales. I haven’t seen many side-by-side comparison pics. I’ve heard the knife is thin, reinforced by Casinostocks Casinostocks in another thread, but it was hard to get a frame of reference.

Mine arrived today, so here’s some pics if you’re trying to decide before they’re gone.

Blade length and sharpened edge are longer than the PM2 and Buck 110

Thinner blade stock and a shorter, thinner grip than the other two.

Compared to the LionSteel M4, cutting edge is nearly identical but the M4’s blade is shorter and thicker. Obviously the scales are thicker too.

The Junction has a really good sheath and the combo carries great. Really great.

It carried so well today that I may work the Junction into my EDC rotation (I’ve only ever carried a fixed blade in the outdoors before). It’s a very well built knife and the grind/blade thickness should make it really slicey. I haven’t put it to the test yet, but wanted to get the pics up in case you’re considering one.

I'm thrilled with the Junction at the KC discontinued price of just under 100. It's a great buy at this price point; heck I even went ahead and bought the serrated 6"er kitchen knife which KC is now offering on disco at just under 50 :D

OP - thanks for sharing the info. Those pics are great and exactly what I have been looking for :thumbsup: However, I am still hesitating. I REALLY wish the blade is 1" longer while keeps everything else the same as is (or maybe 0.5" longer handle or a bit thick g10 with the same handle length to balance things out).

EDIT: in the3 end, I think I'll still buy one. The price is just too good to pass.

I will admit the thinness of the handle was a bit off putting when I first unboxed the knife. A few hours later I was used to it.

The Junction is going to make an exceptional low profile all-around utility fixed blade. And did I mention that it carries great?

Mine came in today. Nice knife. Superb blade shape. A great slicer for sure. Super price.
Overall it’s a catch and release for me. I believe this is one of those times when the finger choil is unnecessary. It’s a small fixed blade. The knife needs more handle length, not a finger choil.
